Kanye west take him or leave him. The fashion designer/rapper met with media mogul Russell Simmons on Monday at Occupy Wall Street in Zuccotti Park. Simmons tweeted that he "walked @kanyewest thru the #occupywallstreet. I love how sweet and tolerant he was to the crowd." The crowd Russell speaks of didn't quite know how to take Kanye's presence. Some welcomed the outspoken star while others shunned the idea of celebrities attending the protest against corporate greed all together. One witness shouted, "There are no celebrities, just people" Simmons defended West's presence when he tweeted, "His presence matters. #occupywallstreet. Celebrity (sic) have no real value except to use it to help others." Well maybe Simmons was the only one giving Kanye West praise. What do you think about occupy wall street!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
