BET Hip Hop Awards After Party Turns Into Brawl With Diddy And T

The BET Hip Hop Awards 2011 brought the usual low caliber artist, Kanye West, most of Young Money, Jay-Z and a few others were noticeably absent. Kanye was busy premiering his womenswear line in Paris, not sure what everyone else excuse was. Despite it all, the show did have some surprises.

Young Jeezy brought out T.I, who's making his first onstage appearance since his release. The crowd reportedly went wild. LL Cool J received the IAMHipHop Award and DMX performed with his old partner Swizz Beatz.

But the drama came AFTER the awards - at the afterparty at Atlanta's club Compound. The beef started when Diddy decided that lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns and his crew couldn't drink Grey Goose. And they should opt for Ciroc - the brand that Diddy pulls in millions from per year. The incident escalated as Diddy and Burns' crew were prepping for a brawl. T.I quickly requested the mic in an attempt to calm things down and you know - avoid heading back to jail.

T.I attempted to reason with Diddy that they're making too much money to fight over who's not drinking Ciroc. Catch a few pics of BET Awards 2011 below...

Serena Williams Denies Dating Country Singer Jake Owen

Serena williams is not dating breakout country star Jake Owen - we can all breathe a sigh of relief.

Last weekend, Serena was spotted out to dinner with the country artist and while Jake appeared happy Serena was clearly trying to avoid the cameras. Now we know why...

Serena took to her twitter to squash the rumors:

"Its not fair to me to Jake or his girlfriend to say we r dating when u just hang out and have dinner with friends. So stop the lies!!"

"I NEVER address rumors but this one I will. I am not dating @jakeowen. He is a great guy with a super amazing girlfriend."

Seriously Serena what did you expect? And why wasn't Jake's girlfriend on this dinner?? Hehehe...JK Serena played it safe and took Ciara out to dinner this time.

Kanye West Draws Criticism & Praise For Occupy Wall Street Appearance

Kanye west take him or leave him. The fashion designer/rapper met with media mogul Russell Simmons on Monday at Occupy Wall Street in Zuccotti Park.

Simmons tweeted that he "walked @kanyewest thru the #occupywallstreet. I love how sweet and tolerant he was to the crowd."

The crowd Russell speaks of didn't quite know how to take Kanye's presence. Some welcomed the outspoken star while others shunned the idea of celebrities attending the protest against corporate greed all together.

One witness shouted, "There are no celebrities, just people"

Simmons defended West's presence when he tweeted,

"His presence matters. #occupywallstreet. Celebrity (sic) have no real value except to use it to help others."

Well maybe Simmons was the only one giving Kanye West praise. What do you think about occupy wall street!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
